Default Any news?

With The Thunderbirds collection reversing the norm and rapidly gaining in values i was wondering if there were going to be any new figures produced as promised? There are one or two characters glowingly missing from the range and it would be nice to add them. Not too many though or the collection will lose it's uniqueness.
I see the prices on Ebay and on some of the American Fab sites are going thru the roof, now isn't that nice

Any chance RHD of publishing the figures produced for this collection (and Stingray)?

Still working on it Carla. The other established collections taken precedent recently, but it's still in our planning.

I have not seen any hints lately. I too am hoping there will be some new pieces. But going by Matt's blog, sounds like any new pieces would be later in the year rather than sooner, and depends if they get their licencing plans negotiated. Hoping we will get some hints during the year, but will also be keeping an eye out in the Quarterly release bulletins.

It's always good to get news.

Glad to hear that the range is doing well in collectors circles.

As a relative newcomer to RHD i was looking for a nice tv collection to start on, this collection looks hugely superb and isn't too large and daunting for a new collector unlike the camberwick and beano collections. There seem to be a few on Ebay but some pieces are quite expensive.

Hi Rumblefish Twist. Welcome.

Yes, it is a smaller collection compared to some of the other ranges. I am personally very pleased with my collection. RHD have nearly done the rounds on characters and vehicles that make up Thunderbirds - they still have a few more to do and have some plans for some new pieces subject to licence negotiations - hopefully sometime this year.

There are a few limited edition pieces, pre-production models and some of the range is now discontinued, so is why you are seeing some high prices on the auction sites.

So if you want an iconic tv collection to start you off, then Thunderbirds is a nice set.

The forum here for this range is fairly quiet as of late as we are largely waiting for announcements on the next pieces. We have made some suggestions for new pieces in some old posts, so we'll wait and see.
