Doctor Who handpainted figurine

A limited edition of only 400

We at Robert Harrop Designs have been creating collectable hand painted figurines for over 30 years and have gained a well earned reputation of high quality and accuracy of detail.  Our extensive portfolio includes Thunderbirds, Camberwick Green, Beano Dandy and 2000AD to name but a few.  A portfolio that is extremely nostalgic and very British, so it was no surprise that Doctor Who would be the next project that we wanted to embrace into our studios!

In partnership with the BBC, we have meticulously hand sculpted a range of 1:12 scale, hand cast and hand painted Doctor Who figurines, each made to strict Worldwide Limited Editions.

As a mark of provenance, each Limited Edition figurine will be numbered with a unique Edition Number and will come packaged in a presentation box with an Information Card and Certificate of Authenticity!

The TARDIS from 1974

"You see Liz, the Tardis, is dimensionally transcendental".

An acronym for Time And Relative Dimension in Space, the TARDIS is the Doctor’s time machine and can take him anywhere in time and space. The TARDIS is larger on the inside than the outside, or dimensionally transcendental, meaning that the interior exists in a different relative dimension to that of the exterior.

The last of its kind the TARDIS’ outside is supposed to blend into its surroundings, but due to a broken chameleon circuit it has been stuck as a blue police box for hundreds of years.  The interior of the TARDIS contains the Console Room, the heart of the TARDIS which has changed in appearance almost as much as its captain the Doctor.  The interior is almost infinite in size, containing a vast number of rooms and chambers, including swimming pools, art galleries a library and gardens.

The TARDIS is a living machine connected telepathically to those travelling inside it and every TARDIS was equipped with a link to the Eye of Harmony, a black hole which powers the TARDISes time engines.

Time travel was made possible by the sacrifice of Omega the first of the Time Lords. He harnessed a black hole creating the Eye of Harmony an energy source that powered all TARDISes. Omega was trapped forever on the other side of the black hole and has vowed revenge on the Time Lords should he ever escape.
